User interfaces and experiences

Front-end developer

Front-end development is, from graphic design, making webpages usable on the Internet and linking with data coming from back-end. Through several years of experience in this area, I am able to lay out any kind of visual interfaces using xHTML/HTML5 & CSS stylesheets for content, Javascript/AJAX (jQuery) for animations and interactions, while complying with W3C standards, and remaining compatible with all popular browsers.

Web development

Web development is necessary to implement all functionalities for websites. I participated in the realization of dozens of websites and apps that you can find in my Portfolio page. Mostly, I use PHP technology in oriented-object programming, using MVC framework such as Code Igniter, linked to MySQL databases. I also work with Flash / Actionscript 3 technology to create full-flash websites, part flash animations and desktop widgets.

Mobile development

Because mobile technologies are becoming increasingly important in recent years, it is important to understand and move forward with them. I was led to work on websites adapted to mobile devices, but also on the mobile development for iOS (iPhone, iPad) and RESTFul webservices with PHP.

Interfaces design

Although the content of a website or application is more important than its appearance, a beautiful and striking graphic always gives more desire to the user to read its content. I regulary work on creating visual identities (logos, visual environments), graphic design of websites and advertising banners.

User experiences

Each one of us has his way to interpret user interfaces, whether a website, software or mobile application. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the targeted public and adapt the ergonomics of a product to make it enjoyable, because of its beauty and its attraction, but also by its simplicity and usability. With my experience on variety of projects, from different social classes and ages, I am able to showcase new products or improve existing products to make them more ergonomic.

Editorial et audiovisual

In the context of my multimedia training, I was led to make advertising posters, flyers and company brochures, photography, PowerPoint and Keynote presentation, layouts of small magazines and books, audio and video editing, 3D animations and special effects.
